Foods class does Cookie Exchange

Posted on December 22, 2017, in Academics

James W. Parker Middle School 8th grade students spent the last three days preparing cookies for an old-fashioned cookie exchange. Students in Mrs. Glasl’s Foods Class were assigned a cookie and had to analyze the recipe to calculate the amount of cookies they needed to prepare to send home at least a dozen cookies with each person in class.

Approximately 1,000 cookies were made and students take them home Thursday and Friday!
