Beauty and the Beast Jr. takes the stage next week

Opening night for James W. Parker Middle School’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. is almost a week away.

Disney’s award-winning animated film and stage play comes to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale.

Shows are February 8th and 9th at 7 p.m. and February 10th at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door only and are $5 per adult, $3 per student. The show takes place at General McLane High School in the auditorium.

Students cast for roles include: the Beast (Isaac Smith), Belle (Kaitlyn Dubynski), Lumiere (Olivia Mussett), Gaston (Aiden Dougan), Lefou (JC Williams), Babette (Tobeigh Ingram), Wardrobe (Hannah Wolfe), Mrs. Potts (Meredith Moore), Chip (Caleigh Meyer), Cogsworth (Caleb Minner), Maurice (Shane Dexter), Monsieur D’Arque (Sean Dexter), Narrator 1 (Shaela Kineston), Narrator 2 (Abby Walker), Narrator 3 (Katelynne Langer), Silly girl 1 (Miranda Kline), Silly girl 2 (Kiersten Marendt) and Silly girl 3 (Maiden Zietz).
