General McLane High School’s Career Choices classes toured the Erie News Now (WICU 12, WSEE, CW) studios last week and learned about careers in the Communications field. One class even appeared in a brief live segment with Meteorologist John Stehlin, and sophomore Hailey Ingalls was interviewed and gave a brief synopsis of the class.

Career Choices is a required course for all 10th grade students. During this course, students examine their own interests, abilities, temperaments and goals to determine which career areas are best suited for them. Students createĀ an electronic career portfolio as part of this course.
