Cookie Cake Competition at the High School

General McLane High School students faced off in a Cooke Cake Competition the last two weeks. Students worked in groups to create their finest cakes for the competition. They were only allowed to use candy clay, rice krispies, icing and sugar cookie dough.

Judging is still underway.

This project was part of Mrs. Kurczewski’s Fun Foods Class, which is designed to give students will have a hands on approach to learning about food preparation, reading and understanding simple recipes, as well as various simple food preparation techniques.
