Former General McLane student-athlete and Wisconsin-Green Bay men’s basketball assistant coach Ben Swank has been named to the 2016 NABC Under Armour 30-Under-30 Team. The award recognizes the top 30 college basketball coaches under the age of 30.

Swank finished his first year as the assistant coach for the Phoenix under head coach Linc Darner, where they finished with a 23-13 record and won the Horizon League championship. He served the previous two seasons as the assistant coach under Darner at Florida Southern. Swank helped the Moccasins to a 62-6 record in that span, winning the Sunshine State Conference regular season and tournament titles, and the 2015 Division II National Championship. Prior to joining the Florida Southern staff, Swank spent a year as an assistant coach at Allegheny College.

Swank graduated from General McLane High School in 2006 and was a four-year letterman in football for Edinboro University.
