Introducing Edinboro’s Mrs. Jones

Posted on August 25, 2017, in Academics

General McLane School District welcomes twelve new teachers and ten new employees to the District this year. Throughout the week, we will be introducing many of them!

Mrs. Emma Jones will be an Emotional Support teacher at Edinboro Elementary School. Jones is quite familiar with the District, as she has served multiple positions within the District for the past three years. Jones was an AmeriCorps member, as well as a long-term substitute at both Edinboro and McKean Elementary Schools. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Edinboro University, where she was involved in various student organizations and participated in multiple community outreach programs.

“This year, I am looking forward to helping start our new Emotional Support program at Edinboro Elementary by supporting the students and teachers to create the best environment possible for all,” Jones said.
Mrs. Jones love to travel to new cities to explore what they have to offer.  She’s lived in St. Louis and loved every minute of the new city life experience.
