Lancer Leader: Kim Shields
December 18, 2020, in Lancer Life
One of this week’s Lancer Leader Award winners was Edinboro Elementary’s Mrs. Shields!
Mrs. Shields was presented the award on Thursday, December 17. Mrs. Shields teaches first grade at Edinboro Elementary and has been with the district for 15 years.
The Lancer Leader program allows anyone to nominate a teacher, administrator or staff member as a way to say thank you for making a true difference in their family or child’s life.
The nomination for Mrs. Shields read:
“I work closely with Kim on a daily basis and get to experience how awesome of a teacher she is! She gets the kids up and dancing even if it is six feet apart behind their desks. She makes learning so fun and interactive! She makes sure each child gets her attention when they are struggling. She goes above and beyond each day to make sure the kids still have fun learning but is always trying to fit more in on our shorter schedule days!
Kim Shields deserves to be recognized for her above and beyond teaching during these different times! She is still making sure the kids are learning at their highest potential each and every day!”
Thank you for your service to this District and our families, Mrs. Shields!
