Long-term school directors are being honored across the state by the Pennsylvania School Board Association at local school board meetings. School directors are recognized for years of service ranging from 8 to 36 years.

Dr. Timothy Wise, a member of the General McLane School District, received recognition for 32 years of services. School Board president Carrie Crow presented him with a plaque at last week’s Board Meeting that added him to the PSBA “Honor Roll of School Board Service”.

“Our District is very thankful for Dr. Wise’s service and enduring support of the district,” said Superintendent Richard Scaletta. “His wisdom has been an asset in making decisions to empower our students to become all they are capable of being.”

Congratulations to Dr. Wise for his achievement!
