Introducing McKean’s Miss Inks!

Posted on August 24, 2017, in Academics

General McLane School District welcomes twelve new teachers and ten new employees to the District this year. Throughout the week, we will be introducing many of them!

Jessica Inks will be a second grade teacher at McKean Elementary School. Inks worked part-time at Little Acorn’s Learning Center since 2014 and served as a long-term substitute for Northwestern. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Edinboro University with dual-certification in Early Childhood and Special Education, as well as a STEM Endorsement. She was selected to present at the Pennsylvania Council for Exceptional Children Conference and was selected to be a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success Honors Fraternity. Inks has also been involved with Erie Youth Soccer Association.

“This school year, I am looking forward to getting to know the students and their families at General McLane, more specifically at McKean Elementary,” said Miss Inks.  “I know this year is going to be full of many firsts for me and my students!”

Outside of school, Inks enjoys reading, camping and spending time with my family and my dog. She also enjoys crafting — she has a Cricut machine that she uses for all sorts of creations.

Miss Inks will soon be Mrs. McIntire! She is getting married on September 2 and is excited for the big day.
