Research suggests that school health and wellness programs have a positive impact on students’ academic performance, as well as their health outcomes. In light of this, General McLane School District has partnered with Coventry HealthAmerica to launch a new Healthy Habits Program for the 2013-2014 School Year.

Each month, a healthy living theme will be emphasized to increase awareness in our students. September’s healthy theme is “Eat Breakfast!” Please visit our website for an informational newsletter on eating breakfast and a student tracker so your child(ren) can track their progress throughout the month!
