OfficeMax selected Edinboro Elementary’s Murray Lohr as the teacher for their “A Day Made Better” program.

On Tuesday, Lohr received thousands of dollars in supplies from the Erie OfficeMax. Prizes included a new desk chair, a kindle fire, digital camera and many traditional school supplies. OfficeMax also gave Edinboro Elementary a HUGE box of school supplies to share.

A Day Made Better is a nationwide program through OfficeMax where OfficeMax associates surprise 1,000 teachers in their classrooms with $1,000 each worth of school supplies — $1 million in sum. This national initiative, which is in its seventh year, aims to relieve and support teachers who spend their own money on much-needed classroom supplies. OfficeMax consumers and business clients contributed nearly $700.000 in additional school supplies through this summer’s in-store supply drive held at OfficeMax stores across the country.

Thank you OfficeMax!
