Students celebrate 100 days of school

General McLane students celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday.

For many elementary students, being in school for 100 days has definitely aged them. Dressing like they are 100 years old is one of the fun activities students do to celebrate this exciting milestone.

In addition, teachers incorporated ways to have fun with the number 100 within many of the lessons and teachings for the day. Some of the literacy and math-based centers had activities that included a 100 word challenge, 100 chart Number Riddles and ‘100 ways to make 100’.

Happy 100th Day of School — which also means, 80 days until summer break!
