Weber retires after 21 years

James W. Parker Middle School fifth grade teacher Robert Weber has retired after 21 years of service to the District.

Weber started teaching third and fourth grade at Edinboro Elementary School before moving to the middle school in 2001 to teach sixth and seventh grade social studies. In 2003, he began teaching fifth grade.

“Mr. Weber has touched many lives over the last 21 years. The Parker Middle School Family wishes him the best as he begins his next chapter in life,” said James W. Parker Middle School Principal John Hansen. “His dedication and commitment to young people have helped mold some of General McLane’s finest students.”

Mr. Weber has served as the advisor to the Middle School Newsier since 2003. He received his Bachelor’s from the University of Texas and his Master’s from Edinboro University.
