August 26, 2020, in Academics, Lancer Life
General McLane School District welcomes four new instructional staff to the District this year. Throughout the next few days, we will be introducing you to each of them!
Alexandra Stauffer will be a long-term substitute, serving as a second-grade teacher at Edinboro Elementary School.
She started at General McLane School District in 2015 and previously served as a substitute teacher and a Personal Care Aide at McKean Elementary. Mrs. Stauffer recently graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in May 2020.
In her free time, Mrs. Stauffer enjoys spending time with her two sons, 1 and 3. She has also volunteered in Special Olympics at General McLane High School and was previously a cheerleading coach.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the kids. They’re so excited and they’re awesome,” she said. “There’s going to be so much movement this year and every day will present something new. I’m excited for this opportunity.”
Mrs. Stauffer is filling in for the whole 2020-2021 year for Ms. Katie Waddell.
