Third Grade GM Cyber Students recognize 9/11

The third grade GM Cyber class taught by McKean Elementary School’s Mrs. Alison Harroun recognized 9/11 on Friday.
The students listened to a book explaining what happened on September 11, 2001. Then, they discussed the heroes in our lives, whether someone is a hero because of what they do for society – like our soldiers and first responders, or someone is a hero personally.
The students made collages of their heroes. You’ll see pictures of soldiers, firefighters, police officers, doctors, presidents, moms, dads and families. Take a look:
